Lampwork Beads and Gold Thread Crochet Necklace

You do not have to stick with using small beads in your beaded crochet jewelry. Larger beads, such as the lampwork beads used in this tutorial, are also an option. The use of gold thread gives this a rich look reminiscent of gold metal, but of course, gold colored crochet thread costs much less than real gold.

To make the Lampwork Beads and Gold Thread Crochet Necklace, you will need the following tools and supplies:

*6 - 10mm Gray-colored lampwork beads
*11 - 10mm Red-colored lampwork beads
3.25mm Crochet hook (size D)
Size 10 Cotton metallic/gold crochet thread
Scissors
Small darning needle
3 inches of 22-gauge Brass wire
Round-nosed pliers
