9. Place the necklace in front of you and arrange the chains next to each other. You want to be sure that the heart is in the center and the beads of the other chain also fall in the center. This is when you need to determine if your chain sections that have no clasp yet need to be adjusted, either removing chain links or adding more. You obviously want them to be roughly the same length and to match the other side you previously attached the coil clasp section to. I ended up with one side that was fine and one I needed to insert my crochet hook back and and make about an inch more of chain links.

10. Once your chains are the length you need, repeat steps 5 through 8.

If you'd like to do some variations on this design, you could easily add another chain for a total of three. Braiding or twisting the chains would also be interesting.
