4. Now it is time to add the metal tube-shaped beads to the other fiber chain made earlier. Slip one bead on the chain, locate the center of the chain, and secure the bead in place with a knot on either side. Measure about 1 1/2 inches down on either side of this first bead, and add two more beads using the same overhand knotting technique.
