Make Fiber Chains

Crochet Chain, Metal Clay Charm, and Bead Necklace

Crochet Chain, Metal Clay Charm, and Bead Necklace

1. Start by making two fiber chains using the crochet hook and metallic yarn. Each chain needs to be at least 20 inches long, and make sure to leave good long tails of yarn on each end, at least 10 inches. Do not knot the ends yet. This way, if you need to make one longer or shorter when you start to put the two strands together, you can pull out links or reattach the hook and make more links as needed.
