Begin the Wire Wrap

Book Mark - 3

Wrap wire down and around the bead, wrapping the wire under the first loop made.

Next, bring the wire down and around your bead, and wrap the excess wire around the wire that’s coming out of the top of your bead. For this wrapping part, you pretty much just need to use your fingers, but if you have trouble grasping the wire, you may want to use your flat or bent-nosed pliers. This can be tricky. In fact, I used half-hard wire (again this is what I had at the time), and it wasn’t that easy to work with, so I’d recommend (especially if you’re new to this technique) using a softer wire.
