Sometimes your wire or head pin may not be long enough for the first method I showed you to work, so that's when you can use this alternative method for making simple or unwrapped loops.

Start by also using chain-nosed pliers to bend the wire or head pin (as pictured) at a 90 degree angle. You need about 3/8 of an inch of wire or head pin to accommodate the loop. If you need to, use wire cutters to trim enough off so you have about 3/8 of an inch left.
