4. Now this is when it’s handy to have two flat-nosed pliers. Hold the wire pieces that are bent right above the pointed part of the bead with one pair of pliers, and with the other pair in the other hand, wrap the shorter piece of wire around the longer piece of wire. (By holding the wire with the first pair of pliers, this helps keep the piece steady while you wrap.)

5. Trim off any excess wire for the short piece just wrapped, and file smoothing as necessary.
