Briolettes are pretty much all the range now when it comes to gemstone and crystal jewelry making. If you are a wire lover as well, then you can use this simple technique to turn a briolette bead into a small dangle or use as a pendant.

I call this “neat” because as you’ll see, I try to do my best to make very accurate wire wraps. The supplies listed below are for the jewelry item pictured, but obviously, you could use your own choice of briolette bead and wire.

You’ll need:
1 – 12mm cherry quartz briolette bead
5 to 6 inches of 24-gauge soft gold-filled round wire
2 pairs of flat-nosed pliers
Round-nosed pliers
Wire cutters
Jewelers’ file
