Jigs are every where today. Commercially available jigs are made using everything from plastic to metal. Though it's easy to make your own jig using wood and nails, today's jigs add a number of conveniences that make them worth considering. The most obvious convenience is that the pegs can be moved around, so you can create an infinite number of patterns. Also, the manufacturers have already created designs, so you can follow their instructions instead of figuring out your own.

There are now a number of jigs on the market. Below is a list of the jig companies and also a few vendors who sell some of these jigs. Some companies also sell their products retail. Check their web sites to find out if they do. All these companies provide an assortment of wire and tools that can be used with wire jigs. If you have a local bead store or craft store, you might also find some of these jigs there.

Distributors:

WigJig
