Add Beads to Wire

Add Beads to Wire

Tammy Powley
1. With about a foot of brass wire, make a wrapped loop on one end of the wire.

2. Then string on your beads in this order: one 3mm gold-filled bead; one purple lampwork; one gold-filled bead; one swirl lampwork; one gold-filled bead; one purple lampwork; and one gold-filled bead.

3. Slip on the lampwork bird bead. The hole in the bead is angled a little to go through the body of the bird, so I orientated mine to angle up.

4. Then add the rest of the beads repeating the pattern from step 2 so that you end with one 3mm gold-filled bead.

5. Finish the center section off with another wrapped loop on the other end of the wire. Set this aside while you fabricate the chain.
