Wire and Resin Bead Clasp

Wire and Resin Bead Clasp

Tammy Powley
Copper is a metal that continues to grows in popularity, and not just because it is inexpensive compared to other metal but because it has a wonderful earthy look to it that looks great with earth-tones. For this double sided hook style clasp, I chose a pumpkin colored resin bead to accent the copper wire.

You'll need:

*1 9x6mm Pumpkin colored resin bead
6 inches of 21-gauge dead soft or half-hard wire
Round-nosed pliers
Wire cutters
Nylon-nosed pliers
Anvil
Small ball peen hammer
Jeweler's file

*The resin bead came from Natural Touch Beads, item no. OFS01003.
