4. The next step is to bend your wire into a hook. Using your round-nosed pliers, place them a little higher than half way on the wire so that the small loop is at the top and the larger loop is at the bottom. The smaller loop should be facing away from you. Bend the wire away from you so that it forms a hook. You've finished the hook part of the clasp.
