Use the chain-nosed pliers to squeeze the wire together so the bent wire fits up against each other.

At this point, you can solder the double wire closed if you want. For the wire hook pictured, I did not do any soldering on it.

Then use the round-nosed pliers to bend the doubled wire in half. I also used the round-nosed pliers to curl the end of the hook a little up. It’s not necessary, but I thought it looked a little nicer.

This finishes the hook part of your clasp.
