Exposed Wire Wrapped Hoop Earrings

Tammy Powley
The wire work in these hoop earrings looks super intricate, but in reality, the base hoop is filigree with a one long wire wrapped around it securing tiny glass teardrop beads.

You will need the following tools and supplies:

*2 - 30mm Filigree brass hoop components
3 feet of 24-gauge dead-soft copper wire
4 inches of 21-gauge dead-soft copper wire
**28 - 3mm Side-drilled glass teardrop beads
Wire cutters
Chain-nosed pliers
Round-nosed pliers
Nylon-nosed pliers

*The filigree hoops came from Ornamentea.com.
**The teardrop beads came from Fire Mountain Gems and Beads.
