Two-Tone Heart Earrings

Supplies Needed for Two-Tone Heart Earrings

When making my Crystal and Amethyst Heart Bracelet, I set aside a few of the crystal heart charms in order to make a pair of matching earrings. The ear hooks from APAC Tools inspired me to go for a two-tone affect, so I have both gold and silver included in the finished earrings.

To make a pair, you’ll need:

2 - heart sterling silver charms with faceted amethyst crystals (Soft Flex item no. EG-AP102AM)
*2 – 4mm dark amethyst bicone crystal beads
2 – 2mm 14kt ball-end sterling ear wires (APAC Tools item no. X0100-K-T036)
4 – 4mm copper daisy spacers (Beadshop.com item no. 600-1)
2 - 6 inch pieces of 22-gauge gold-filled round wire
Round-nosed pliers
Flat-nosed pliers
Wire cutters
Jeweler’s files

*I first made these earrings with clear AB crystals, so they are an okay substitute if you don’t have amethyst-colored crystals on hand.
