Crystal Slider Earrings

By Tammy Powley, About.com

Introduction & Materials

I originally purchased these slider components used in this project at a local craft store. They are made by a company called Crystal Innovations, and at the time, I just knew I liked them though I wasn't sure what I planned to do with them. Because of the green crystal set in the center, I finally decided to team them up with crystal beads and wire to make a pair of vintage looking earrings.

You'll need:

2 slider components with inset green crystals
2 - 6mm Swarovski peridot-colored bicone crystal beads
2 - 5 inche pieces of 24-gauge sterling wire
2 ear hooks, either make them yourself or buy them
Flat-nosed pliers
Round-nosed pleirs
Wire cutters
