Crochet Wire Bracelet

Tammy Powley
If I work with wire too much, my hands really start to feel it, but I really like the idea of wire crochet. So, I developed this very simple bracelet design which uses a button as a toggle clasp and a few seed beads are included to accent the wire. This way, I don't have to work too long with the wire and I still get some interesting results.

To make one, you’ll need: 24-gauge craft wire, a few feet
[b About 60 seed beads
Size G crochet hook
Wire cutters
Chain-nosed pliers
Round-nosed pliers

Before starting this bracelet, I suggest practicing a little by just making chain stitches in some of the wire. This will help you determine the size of the chain you want to make, and how many chain stitches you’ll need for the length of bracelet you want. I made my bracelet 7 inches long using 30 chain stitches. Once you have decided the size and number of chains stitches to make, you’re ready to start. Obviously, if you want a smaller chain, you can use thinner wire and a smaller crochet hook.
