Medieval Earrings

Tammy Powley
After making these earrings, they reminded me of the large, steeple style hats worn by women during the Medieval period - thus the title of these earrings. It’s amazing what you can create with just a little wire, some chain, and a few beads.

To make a similar pair, you’ll need:

2 - 4mm amethyst Czech beads
4 inches of 24-gauge sterling wire
1 ½ inches of sterling chain
1 ½ inches of 20 gauge sterling wire
2 sterling ear hooks
Wire cutters
Jewelers’ files
Round-nosed pliers
Chain-nosed pliers
