Attach Heart Bead Tips

12. Add bead stations on the other side of the beading wire (following steps 7 through 11). However, instead of relying on the ruler for measuring, double check the crimp beads are in the same position as those on the other piece of beading wire before closing the crimp beads. This will help ensure both sides are as close to matching as possible.

13. Now, slide on the heart-shaped bead tip, making sure the open part faces away from the beads previously strung.

14. Measure about 4 inches away from the last bead station, and tie 2 – 3 overhand knots, one on top of the other, on the beading wire.

15. Use wire cutters to trim off excess wire, slide the bead tip over the knot, and use flat-nosed pliers to gently close the bead tip around the knot.

16. Repeat this process (steps 13 – 15) for the other side of the necklace.
