Though it is a tired, old cliché - "a picture is worth a thousand words" - it sure is true, especially when it comes to taking pictures of the jewelry you hope to sell through online venues such as Etsy.com, Ebay.com, or your own web site. Even if you don't sell online, sooner or later you will probably need pictures for items such as a portfolio or application for a juried art show.
