5. Since chipboard is made from thick paper, it is a good idea to protect it somehow, so I sprayed the front and back of mine with PYMII, which is an acrylic protective coating also used often in scrapbooking to protect paper. Set it on a piece of paper outside, then spray, and let it dry before doing the other side. Make sure you follow the manufacturer's safety warnings on the label because you do not want to breathe in the vapor (which is why I suggest doing it outside).
