Since these charms are made from paper, it is a good idea to protect them somehow, so I sprayed the front and back of mine with PYMII, which is an acrylic protective coating also used often in scrapbooking to protect paper. Set the charms on a piece of paper outside, then spray, and let them dry before doing the other side. Make sure you follow the manufacturer's safety warnings on the label because you do not want to breathe in the vapor (which is why I suggest doing it outside).
