Where to Teach Jewelry Classes?

The first, and most difficult, step is to find a place to hold the classes. Local rock and gem clubs often teach classes, so they already have a place designated for this and may be in need of instructors. If you cannot hook up with an established club, you’ll have to find your own spot. Some locations to consider are community centers (contact your recreation department); civic organizations (the Lions Club and Jaycees often rent halls); churches (they normally have classroom space available); new age book stores (they usually appreciate working with stones and crystals); and bead stores or craft stores (of course, they would want customers to purchase supplies from them).
