Solder Tip 4: Amount

Amount - Be frugal with your solder. It’s tempting to think the more you add the better. But, this just means you have a large glob of solder on your metal (which will need to be filed off later). Instead, position small amounts of solder in more areas. Remember, your solder should connect the metals, not fill the gap between them.
