7. Now fold the piece in half. If you’ve done the stitch correctly, the sides should fit together like a zipper so that where a bead sticks out on one side, there is an indent for it on the other side. I've drawn an illustration and have darkened the beads in the picture on one side because these will be the beads that lock into the other side when you fold your beaded piece in half.
