5. Dab polish on or glue on this knot. 6. Thread on your large bead (it should cover the knot in step 5), a few seed beads, one accent beads, and one seed bead. 7. Thread the needle back up through, skipping the last seed bead and going up through the accent bead. 8. Tie an over-hand knot inserting the corsage pin through the knot. Push the knot so it is snug up against the accent bead.

9. Thread the needle up through a few of the seed beads above this accent bead. This will be tough. If necessary, grab the needle with a pair of pliers to help you pull it through.

10. Trim off you nylon cord.

11. Dab glue or polish on to the knot made in step 8.

No clasp is needed since this long beaded necklace slips right over the head. Show off a beautiful lampwork bead or polymer clay bead in the middle. For the necklace pictured, I used rainbow blue Japanese seed beads, aqua bugle beads, gold colored seed beads, Czech crystals, glue glass accent beads, a large glass heart, and navy nylon thread.
