Toggle Clasp for African Bracelet

3. Once you have the two ladders connected, you need to create a toggle clasp. I opted to include a 6mm tiger-eye bead to form one end of the clasp. For this end of the toggle, you just create one piece - basically using the same technique as the fringe for the amulet - and position it in the middle part at one end of the bracelet.

4. For the other end, you position a loop in the middle (again using the same looping technique as described for the bag). The number of beads used will depend on the size of the seed beads and the size of the bead used for the clasp. I usually create my loop loosely and then slip it over the bead part to see if it fits before I secure the loops. I also go through the loop a few times with the thread to make it stronger.
