African Seed Bead Bracelet

Tammy Powley
The instructions for this bracelet are a variation of another project of mine, the Africa Stitch Seed Bead Amulet Necklace. In fact, this is a very versatile stitch, a variation of the Chevron stitch, that can be used to make bracelets, necklaces, even belts.

You can use any combination of seed bead colors that you'd like or even just one color of beads, but for the bracelet in this tutorial, I used three different colors. Whatever colors you use, just make sure you have about 30 grams total. The materials list includes:

10 grams of size 11 gold-colored seed beads
10 grams of size 11 bronze-colored seed beads
10 grams of size 11 brown seed beads
Scissors
Size 11 or 12 beading needle
Natural or brown colored Nymo or Silimade thread
1 6mm tiger-eye gemstone bead
