4. Next, add some drops of burnishing soap into the water. The amount of soap needed depends on the size of the machine. For the smaller machine, approximately 8 drops are recommended. I have also used regular Dawn dish washing soap with a good deal of success, and I also like to drop a little lemon ammonia in there at the same time.
