Introduction and Materials

What better way to spread awareness about breast cancer than to make a cell phone for yourself and your girlfriends? You could also easily adapt this and make it into a pendant to wear on a chain, or make two and attach ear hooks for a matching pair of earrings.

You’ll need:

5 inches of 22-gauge round dead-soft gold-filled wire
*1 – 10mm tube-shaped breast cancer awareness bead
2 – 6mm light pink Czech crystal beads
Round-nosed pliers
Flat-nosed pliers
Nylon-nosed pliers
Wire cutters
Cell phone strap

*The lampwork bead used in this project was made by D.D. Hess.

If you can’t wait to see the finished charm, just select the step linked on this page and it will send you to the end of the project.
