Finish Pearl Pendant

7. Make sure your wires are wrapped well and are not sticking out because they could scratch the wearer. After wrapping the bale, use your fingers to push it up against the back of the pearl component.

I made the bale so that it was hidden behind the pearl cross component. However, you may want to try this same technique and position the bale at the top rather than behind it, especially if you’d rather make these into earrings rather than a pendant. If you decided to do this, make sure you start with a longer piece of wire, at least 10 inches total should work. Also, it is really hard to make a "neat" loop, so don't stress about it too much. The pearl component is not perfectly shaped either, so I think this is a case where perfect loops are not that important. In fact, they may actually look kind of strange considering the odd shape of the pearl used.
