Finish Paper Clay Bead

7. With the clay still on the pin, insert the pin into a small piece of foam so that the clay is standing up right. Allow to dry before continuing.

8. Finally, with a paint brush, cover the entire bead with glaze, again set it into the foam, and allow to dry.

When it’s dry, you can pull out your pin, and you have a bead ready to add to your own beaded jewelry creation.

The finished bead pictured (which I quicky strung on beading wire) is about 30mm because I was making a focal bead. Obviously, you can make your beads as large or as small as you'd like using the same technique.
