8. Paint the star’s other side, allow it to dry, and then repeat the processes so that you have two coats of gold paint on the star.
9. With a foam brush, now coat the entire star with gel medium and allow to dry.

7. Working over waxed paper to protect your work surface, squeeze a little gold paint onto waxed paper (or a paper plate works well too), and then with a foam brush coat the top and side of the star, and allow to dry before continuing.
