Locate a Jewelry Book Publisher

By Tammy Powley, About.com

Of course, you first need to have an idea for a book, which I think is the easiest part of the whole process. Once you've got that, the next step is to locate a publisher. I was lucky in that my publisher, Rockport, found me because someone had referred them to me. However, that's pretty unusual. Some other possible publishers to approach would be Interweave Press and Lark Books. To locate more possible publishers, you can search the Internet, or examine the plate pages of some jewelry books you already own. The publisher's name and often the address will be on the inside of the first few pages of most books.
