We just added live chat features to the site. This allows the customers to ask questions or make special requests. In the future this could be used to hold “Chat with the design team” times or beading chat. We are also looking at adding video tips to the site. These would be extremely helpful for anyone who might be new to beading.
6. How did you connect up with your kit designers? Any plans for adding new designers to the team?
I was fortunate to of met Sandra online talking to her about her patterns over the years. The others I’ve met in Chat groups or by looking at ads and articles. I’ve also contacted some of the designers that I’ve purchased patterns from over the years. We currently have 4 designers and welcome anyone who would like to join us.
7. When did you start Ready to Bead, and where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Ready To Bead was started December 1st, 2005 and has been growing better than I could have hoped for. I would like to see Ready To Bead at some of the bead shows and craft fairs around the US by our 5 year mark. We can only do this with the help of the designers and customers.
