As the title suggests, the primary focus of the book is inspiration, how to get it and what to do with it once you have it. Margot includes a section on seeking inspiration and discusses tools such as creating an art journal. We get a peek inside of one of hers as she shows her sketches and scraps of fabric that inspired some of her designs for the book.
Subsequent chapters follow this same line of inspiration as each chapter was developed around a certain inspirational concept. For example, the first project chapter uses the inspiration of focal beads and pendants. But, as I said, it's not just for jewelry makers (which is kind of cool since most jewelry makers I know are general craft-o-holics). Some of the projects which step into the other world of craftiness includes an Enchanted Tiara, the Pin-Up Boys Purse, and Her Story Tank Top.
For those crafty-type of jewelry makers who don't like to limit themselves to bead stringing, this books is a good fit, especially if you are looking for easy to make projects with a kitchy and fun feel.
