Black and Brass Fabricated Earrings

This contemporary earring design includes brass sheet, wire, and black faceted crystal beads. By using some basic fabrication techniques, you can make just about every single part of these earrings, from the ear hooks to the diamond-shaped brass components.

You will need the following tools and supplies:

2 - 8mm Black faceted rondelle crystal beads
Approximately 1 1/2 feet of 21-gauge brass wire
2x1 inch of 24-gauge brass sheet
Wire cutters
Chain-nosed pliers
Round-nosed pliers
Nylon-nosed pliers
Jeweler's file
Anvil
Ball-peen hammer
Rawhide hammer
Metal shears or jeweler's saw
Two-hole punch
Marker
Polishing cloth
