Fabricate a Copper Toe Ring

Once the entire piece was nice and smooth all around, I wrapped it around a ring mandrel so that the two curved ends almost met and used the raw hide hammer to shape it around the mandrel. If you have a vice handy, you might want to put your mandrel in the vice so that you can use both your hands for the shaping of the ring.

Then I used my dremel and a little rouge to polish up the finished ring. Though it fits my toe, I wasn’t able to scan my toe so here it is on my finger. It turned out pretty nice and also fits my pinky finger.
