Copper Fabricated Toe Ring

Copper Fabricated Toe Ring

Tammy Powley
I thought it would be interesting to try to make a toe ring using fabricated methods that can also be adapted to make a cuff bracelet or a finger ring. You'll find this project both quick and easy.

As usual, I used copper to make my first one. It turned out pretty well, so I feel comfortable making it in silver now. But, I always recommend starting any new project in copper first. Not only is it less expensive, it’s much more forgiving than silver whether you’re soldering or hammering.

These are the tools and supplies I used:

18-gauge copper plate
Metal cutting scissors (or hand saw)
files
Dremel or rotary tool with attachments
Raw hide hammer
Anvil
Ring mandrel
Ruler
