9. Once the firing is complete, you can pull your copper pieces from the carbon. I found it helpful to use an old peanut can to help pour the carbon out slowly so I could locate my pieces. For extra small copper pieces, you may want to use an old spoon or something to help you sift through it.

That is the end of the firing processes. Once you pull your pieces out, you can simply clean them a little with a burnishing brush or for a higher shine, you can also polish them.
