Figure Eight Wire Pieces

1. Start by making the center wire area of the necklace. You’ll need to make 10 figure eight wire pieces. I suggest using a few inches of wire at a time, rather than cutting up a bunch of small pieces and then trying to bend all of those because it will be easier to work with and you’ll have less waste.

2. Using round-nosed pliers, hold the end of the wire, and make a curl on one end.

3. Next to this curl, use round-nosed pliers again, and make a loop in the opposite direction. Trim off excess wire and file.

4. Repeat these steps until you have a total of 10 figure eye wire pieces. Don’t worry about closing all curls on the pieces yet. You’ll need them open so that you can connect everything.
