When you read Charlene Sevier's weblog or browse through her Etsy shop, one of the elements of her writing and jewelry work that pops out is the fact that she continues to move through transitions. First she was all about the beads and was "The Bead Dreamer." In fact, she still runs a pretty successful second Etsy shop as The Bead Dreamer. Then she started moving on to metal and even enamel work.

This moved her away from being just about the beads and transitioning into simply Charlene Sevier, a part-time jewelry designer who mixes jewelry techniques and materials to develop a distinctive line of jewelry. Her continuing journey is one that many jewelry designers, both beginning and advance, continue to travel through, so I asked her to tell us a little about herself and her jewelry work.
