The necklace kit includes a section of beading wire, two sterling crimp tubes, the briolettes (of course), an assortment of sterling tube and round beads, chain, and a lobster claw clasp. Since this is a beginner kit, the only skills necessary includes stringing beads and finishing off with crimp beads, which the instructions suggest flattening. So, this is a good "get your feet wet" kind of project for those uninitiated into the world of making jewelry.
I opted to play with the design just a little, and rather than put two tube beads and one round bead between each green bead, I just put one tube and thus arragned mine more in the center of the necklace. So, while there are just a few supplies included, you can stray from the design a little and still have plenty of opportunity to make this a litte more your own. One other point about this kit that impressed me was even though it is very simple to make and obviously designed for a newbie the supplies are of a pretty high quality, so you still end up with a quality necklace.
The cost of this kit unfinished is $44 and includes all supplies plus illustrated instructions. If you'd prefer to have someone at Luxe Jewels make it for you, it costs $64.
