Margot Potter, Creating, Crafting, and Branding

If have been on-line at all and done some surfing around to various jewelry and crafting sites, then you probably recognize the name Margot Potter, who is also best known as The Impatient Crafter, a brand she created and promoted as she built her jewelry making and crafting career. This is probably one of the biggest lessons you can learn from her and this wonderful interview: If you want something and have the creativity and drive to do it, you can create it yourself, and that is exactly what this talented jewelry designer and artist has done when it comes to developing a career in the world of crafting.

She is an author, designer, and TV personality (you may have seen her on QVC before). Her design credits include working as an ambassador for the Create Your Style with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS program, being a member of the Beadalon Design Team, and writing as a blog team member for iLoveToCreate. Along with designing and writing for companies in the jewelry industry, she has also published a slew of jewelry books from North Light Books: New Dimensions in Bead and Wire Jewelry; Bead Chic; Beyond the Bead; Sparkletastic !; and The Impatient Beader Gets Inspired.
