Jean Campbell, editor and talented beader

Jean Campbell
Editor, author, designer, technician, teacher - Jean Campbell's list of jewelry related career accomplishments seems to go on and on. That is because she knows her stuff, and of course, she is very talented too, which does not hurt. However, when reading her bio and answers to the interview questions here, it struck me that she provides a wonderful example of how many paths are open to jewelry designers who are willing to explore, learn their craft, and work hard too.

Probably most jewelry makers will recognize Jean Campbell because of her work as Senior Editor with Beadwork magazine, which is published by Interweave. She also regularly contributes to Beading Daily, has written and edited a large number of bead books (most recently Steampunk Style Jewelry and Creating Glamorous Jewelry with Swarovski Elements), and is a Crystallized Elements Ambassador for the Swarovski Company. Along with her print and digital publication work, Jean is also known for her teaching as well. While she lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her family, she travels extensively as she brings the world of beadwork to others through television appearances, lectures, and classes.

I am very honored to bring you some of her beading wisdom to you in this interview.
