Is a Jewelry Blog Worth It?

That’s the million dollar question. It’s never easy to know how any kind of marketing will help your jewelry business. Blogging is in its very early stages still. However, according to a February 2005 article from USA Today entitled “Literary Blogs Fill a Nitch,” bloggin is growing: “8 million people have created blogs, a 58 percent jump in the past year, and about 25 percent of all Internet users read them.” If you’ve wanted to expand your jewelry making presence on the Internet, then this might be an easy way to get started. What will happen is anyone’s guess, but I think it’s worth considering as a new way to help promote yourself and your jewelry.
