Mansfield Park Earrings

Tammy Powley
Jane Austen’s heroine in Mansfield Park, Fanny Price, is different than her usual female characters. She is the poor relation of a wealthy family, and so her jewelry would be more limited than the daughter of a country gentleman’s. However, I would like to believe Fanny would have at least one nice pair of classic earrings, and what is more classic than pearls?

To make a pair, you’ll need:

4 - 4mm pearl beads
2 sterling 24 gauge 2 inch head pins
2 Euro ear hooks
Round-nosed pliers
Chain-nosed pliers
