Emma Earring Project

Tammy Powley
Emma Woodhouse, the main character in Jane Austen’s Emma, was the only daughter of a country gentleman. Though a sweet young girl, she was also a bit of a busy-body. I can picture Emma wearing these pretty silver and crystal earrings while scheming over tea.

To make a similar pair, you’ll need:

7 inches of 20 gauge silver wire
2 silver ear hooks
2 crystal beads
Round-nosed pliers
Chain-nosed pliers
@ire cutters
Jewelers’ files
