6. At this point, you’ll have a piece of wire sticking straight up. Use flat-nosed pliers to bend this at a 90 degree angle, hold this bent area with a pair of round-nosed pliers, and use flat-nosed pliers to bend the wire around the round-nosed pliers. (Basically, you are making a simple unwrapped loop here.) Again, trim off and file as necessary.

7. Repeat steps 1 through 6 for a second earring.
