The holidays are always a wonderful excuse to make jewelry, and one reason I enjoy making jewelry for holiday celebrations is that I get to add a bit of whimsy to a piece. These earrings do just that, but they also have a splash of sparkle. I’ve mixed fun popcorn and cranberry beads with crystal rondelles in this earring design that is sure to get noticed.

You’ll need:
*2 popcorn lampwork beads
*2 cranberry lampwork beads
(*Available from D.D. Hess)
**4 – 6mm Swarovski crystal gold-plated rondelles
(** Available from Gems2Behold SKU: F-S-RDG-06)
2 gold-filled ear hooks
2 feet of 22 gauge round dead-soft gold-filled wire
Round-nosed pliers
Wire cutters
Flat-nosed pliers
Nylon-nosed pliers
